Boston, MA—July 15, 2026, Collective Futures Fund (CFF) is honored to announce dual support from the Barr Foundation and Wagner Foundation in a landmark expansion of the program. The Barr Foundation has committed $200,000 over two funding cycles and Wagner Foundation has granted $30,000 for operational support during the 2026–2027 year. This crucial funding will expand the seventh cycle of the Collective Futures Fund program to a total of $200,000 per year in direct artist support and expand the CFF Program Coordinator role from part-time to full-time to support this growth.
Since 2020, and through the auspices of the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts alongside an anonymous donor, Collective Futures Fund has prioritized direct regranting to artists in the Greater Boston region totaling $470,000 in three tiers—Sustaining Practice, Ongoing Platforms, and New Projects. Over six cycles, CFF has supported artists engaged in collaborative and public-oriented projects, with an emphasis on experimentation, risk-taking, and unconventional perspectives. Incoming funding from the Barr and Wagner Foundations in partnership with the Warhol Foundation marks a new chapter for CFF.
